1998 Chevy Malibu car smoking

When I came to work today, my car was smoking all the way. The check engine light is on and the light is lit and it's over 260 degrees it's not the oil because I just put oil in it. Please help me. Thank you

Well if car ran 260 degrees the vehicle was overheating from what you are stating sounds like you have blown the head gasket
