I have been having issues with the ignition in the Malibu the car starts, but really rough when it starts but the real problem is when I turn it off it won't go all the way off my interior lishts, dashlights, and radio stay on. Maybe 1 out of 10 times it will shut off and my theft warning light is always on.

You might want to try getting a new key made, they can wear out over time.
If the new key dosen't help then you may need to replace the lock cylinder itself.
But let me know how you make out with the key first.

The security light is coming on because the ignition switch isn't turning smoothly.
