Our database showed the above for the 3.1. The cavity that the line is pointing to, I believe 3/8s, you'll have to double check the size. Use a rachet drive or breakover in the cavity, pull counter clockwise, to take tension off the belt, then slip the belt off the alternator pulley. Take the negative battery cable loose, first.
In order to save space, this info covers several years, use the info that applies. Also, where applicable, that bracket for the alternator, I remove the bracket with the alternator. It just depends on what is easiest for you.
