Interior problem
2002 Chevy Impala

I have a lot of water leaking in on the front passenger side of the car, I can see dripping from the curtsy light behind the glove compartment. How do I find the leak and how do I fix it?

look by the firewall on the passenger side and see if you can see the drain spout for the air conditioning. its a good possibility that it is plugged and needs to be cleaned out.

MartyB213,

There is a rubber seal strip above the cabin air filter that sometimes get displaced and will allow rain water (or car wash water) to get into the filter and the filter can't stop it from entering the front passenger side, dripping from the courtesy light area, and puddling in the floor in front of the seat.

You might want to check this out. The seal is an edge-clipon type and the clip loses it's spring/strength over time. While you're in there you might as well check the cabin air filter for deterioration.
