2000 Chevy Impala car will not stsrt

This is my daughters car
After it sits a while it does not start. Its like you have it in gear, you have head lights dash lights and when you turn the key, nothing happens, no sound at all.
I have replaced the battery, it was needed, had the starter rebuilt thinking it may be the selinoid, I check all battery connections. After the selenoid was replaced It went for a week with no problems, now its doing it again. It does not do it all the time.
If you try to start it and it does not, let it set for mabe 5 or 10 minutes it starts and will do so many times.
