what is this noise

I am hearing a clicking sound coming from the dashboard when the engine
is off. it last for a few seconds to a few minutes.

nothing is on, the engine -car is off,

wish i could help more but without hearing it, cannot identify it.

the ac may be making the noise from the evap but that is just a guess.
