I was driving to work and when I pulled into the left turn lane my car just died. The car just turns over, but does not fire, I have been told to replace the crank sensor, I have checked to see if there is fuel to the injectors, yes there is, can you please let me know where I should start to get my car back on the road. Thank you for your time. Raul V.

I do not see the security light on, just the battery light when I crank the car over. Now the engine light comes on, so I will try and find a code reader to see what it says the problem may be. Thank you for your time. I'll let you know what I find out, thanx again.

This sounds like the problem I had with my 2000 Impala, except mine would start again after about 5 - 10 minutes. The only indication when it would happen was the "Battery" on the message center.

After the Crankshaft Position Sensor was replaced, there has been no problems. That was3 years ago.

Good luck and I would definitely advise changing the crank sensor.
