Whenever I start the car, the air blows out of the defrost vents (regardless of blower speed) even though it is set to blow out of the front a/c vents. This started last Friday. At first it would only blow out of the defrost vents, but, Sunday morning it started off blowing out of the defrost vents then slowly moved to the front a/c vents. It is also taking longer than normal for it to get cold, but it eventually does. I have been told that it might be the actuator doors or possibly the switch itself? What do you guys think.
Thanks

I disagree. Im sure you will find the vacuum line from the intake manifold that feeds the vacuum mode door is broken at or near the engine. If you remove the air intake hose you can usually access the broken rubber or plastic line then replace it with a piece of rubber vacuum hose. (Usually it connects to intake manifold with a rubber end then it turns into small plastic tube which breaks causing it to go into default mode which is defrost. Be patient and look real closely, you will find the broken vacuum line. Let us know
