I took my car to the shop today to get it worked on because my car seems to be running a little hot. Its been peaking at 241 which I was told wasn't really overheating badly. But the mechanic today told me that there was antifreeze in my oil so what would cause that?

Unfortunately, you've blown a head gasket.

240 is right on the border line of over-heating. Ideally, your motor should run at 210. But if at any time previously, your motor ran over that, then that's what caused your head gasket to blow. (During excessive heat, your cylinder heads will pull away from the block, permanently stretching the cylinder head bolts, and blowing the gaskets) And now, you'll experience over-heating issues more often.

Before you completely blow your motor (bottom end), have the head gaskets on both sides replaced, and use that opportunity to have your heads redone.
