2000 Chevy Corvette V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

how do you reprogram or bypass the anti fuel system anti theft device as the car steering column lock activates causing the car fuel system to shut down killing the engine at 2 mph.

2001 covette 40000 miles
The car set for three days and when i tryed to start it,
it just 'clicked'.
I put in a new battery, checked all connections.
voltage on dash shows from 11.6 to 12.40
i got under the car to the starter and tryed to jump agross the connections to see if the motor would spin, i had no luck. The voltage at the starter checked "ok "as well as i could check it.
it sounds like the solenoid kick in but starter dos'nt
spin. it just clicks once with every key turn.
with the head lights on the click doesnt affect them.
(they don't even dim)
What now Doug

Hi doug88 and TY for the donation Lets start by checking all these fuses: Ign fuse no.50 60amp, crank fuse no.14 10amp,starter fuse no.52 60amp -if all these fuses are okay. Get a helper to hold key in cranking position and check for power at the purple wire on the starter motor-Do you have it-If not test the following items: Ignition switch, park/neutral switch and starter motor itself. If it has anti theft detterent device check and test the theft detterent relay and Body Control Module -control of the relay-Get back with some testing results so that we continue to assist
