My normal operating voltage has been about 14.8 volts. After I installed a new battery I am climbing to 16 volts+. I removed alternator and took to shop--they tested and said all was fine. I re-installed and had same problem. Then I installed a new voltage in alternator--same problem. A volt/ohm meter has confirmed goos connections including ground between battery and alternator. Could a battery cause high voltage fluctuations?

Unlikely batteries can only scientifically emit so much voltagetry removing the battery and test it alone. the valtage should not exceed 12.8 volts. let me know how it goes.

Feedback is appreciated.
