When I start the car of from a parking place or first
thing in the morning. It starts up just fine, than as I
am driving I have a loss of power. And than have to put my foot down hard on the gas to keep the car running. My father has replaced the spark plugs but it acted up again today. Could it be the fuel filter ?

Your fuel pump my be going – also, check the amount of exhaust you have coming out of your tail pipe….sometimes if the converter collapses it doesn’t allow the exhaust to escape. Have you taken it to Auto Zone and check the codes for free to see if it has any?
