About 2 to 3 months before it broke down when I was driving it seemed there wasn't enough power, like it wanted to die and it would die on tight turns. One I filled the car up with gas, drove it a few minutes, then it started losing power and died. When I tried to start it, it made a weird sound, maybe grinding, then after that it would not turn over.

If your saying the starter won't even crank? I'd have to make sure the battery has a full charge and all connections are clean and tight. Also, check the charging circuit. Then, I'd have to check the circuits at the starter.
