I was wondering how you can get the serpentine belt put back on this car.

I also was wondering how hard it is to get to the thermostat, and if you would have to take any big parts off to get it?

Refer to the belt routing diagrams for directions for replacing the belts. It is on this page.

As far as the t-stat, it's at the end of the upper radiator hose. The housing is tough to get to, but it can be done.

Here is a pucture. You listed it as a 3.1L V6 so I got a picture for that. I hope it helps:
