Compressor clutch engaging & disengaging

My compressor would not come on, so I changed my clutch sensor switch (which seemed to correct the original problem) and added refrigerant. I let it run for about 20 minutes and the clutch stayed engaged. It seemed to cool the cab pretty good, but not real cold just sitting for the 20 minutes or so at idle. The next morning, while running the AC, the clutch would click on and off. Staying off longer than it stayed on. What would cause this? Could I have a leak in the system? Could it be overcharged? Or is there some other possible problem? What do you suggest. Thanks in advance, BW.

Basically it could be all of the above so we need to start with checking the pressure of the system. Here is a guide that will help with this:

I am attaching a chart below on what the pressures should be based on ambient temp.

Please check the pressures and let us know what they are and we can go from there.
