My truck has an air conditioner problem. I have changed the air conditioner compressor switch. I Have changed the compressor and even straight wired the compressor switch to allow the compressor to run. No dice! However I noticed it will not accept Freon. I have tried to add it, but no such luck. Any suggestions?

So did it have charge in the system when you started fixing it? Also was the compressor frozen up or making noise? You could have blockage somewhere in the system.

No charge and no the compressor was not frozen. I originally thought the compressor was the problem so I changed it.

Also you should have replaced the drier and the orifice tube when you replaced the compressor. Also the orifice tube has different color ones make sure you match the color of the one you take out with the one you put in. Also I have seen orifice tubes plug up with metal/debris if that is the case you will have to flush the air conditioner system. If its got a restriction then you will probably end up flushing it anyway. You must replace all the oil in the system when you flush it. Also when you replace the compressor you must balance the oil level in it. When you replace the orifice tube you add a ounce of oil the drier you add two ounces of oil.
