1990 Chevy Cheyenne will start but dies, constantly

My husband is retired and we are on a fixed income, he put in a new fuel pump, replaced relay, fuel filter, truck was running then all of a sudden quit, let it set then it started but died, will not stay started. Please help, thankyou

Check and test the fuel pump and oil pressure sending unit
