I am experiencing problems with my car. I just bought it and driving home I noticed that the engine light was on and the speedometer was not working at all. The car would idle high at a stop or would idle rough and die. Once I got to highway speed the speedometer started working again.

I have pulled two codes from the computer. 14 and 33 which are ECT an MAP codes. I hope the computer isn't faulty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks:)

Hello and thanks for donating

The MAP and coolant temperature sensors share the same wiring. I would suggest inspecting the wiring at both of these sensors. Ensure it is connected properly and not loose or damaged.
