I've been having electrical problems with my car for some time now. Currently, I'm having trouble with my dash and console lights. At first, I thought it was just an electrical short, but a friend suggested that there might be a fuse blown in the master fuse box. Myself, not being very auto savvy, have no idea where this is. A manual at Nappa Auto said it would be behind the ashtray, but it's not. Does anyone know where this is (before it's asked, I already checked the fuse box under the ashtray).

I also need to find the turn signal relays. The manual wasn't at all helpful in locating these. I've already scavenged the engine compartment and under the dash, but to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

fuse 11 should be for dash lites, did you use a testlite to check fuse circuit for voltage, I believe it goes hot when you turn on the headlamp switch.

I'm not aware of any master fuse box? As far as the turn flasher, It may be clipped to the top of ash tray bracket. Remove the ashtray, look up in the cavity, if you see a clip on the bottom side of a hole, that possibly may be it? I don't know if you can reach through the ash tray cavity and reach up over the backside and reach it? The databases say it is in the convenience center, then doesn't give the exact location. I hate hunting stuff under the dash, especially when the part isn't where it's supposed to be.

There was nothing on top of the ashtray bracket. I did test the fuse, and there's no power going to it.

The convenience center has eluded me as well.

My wiring info on your model year is limited. As far as the fuse circuit being dead, you might check fusible links under the hood. One of my vehicles out front is an 88 celeb, the fusible links on that one, front of driverside strut tower, probably has a cover that you need to remove. On this vehicle, there is a small canister with plugin on top of the ashtray housing, don't know what it is for, at the moment.
