If I unplug the TCC, will it do any damage if left unpluged? Some people say they got better rpm, and say that doing that is a way to check to see if it needs to be replaced. Is any of that true? Whare is the TCC found at- if I do unplug it. ---- Thank you for your time.

TCC comes On when you hit 50mph and disengages at 45mph. Are you experiencing stalling problem when approaching a stop or just try to do what others thinks of the RPMs gain.

The TCC Solenoid:

The TCC solenoid is what actually causes the TCC to engage and disengage. When the TCC solenoid receives a signal from the ECM, it opens a passage in the valve body and hydraulic fluid applies the TCC. When the ECM signal stops, the solenoid closes the valve and pressure is vented causing the TCC to disengage. If the TCC fails to disengage when the vehicle comes to a stop, the engine will stall.

Well, sometimes when the car warms up, it seems to stall when I shift in reverse, and back out. It re-starts fine, and drives good.
