Chevrolet fan problem

I have a 1986 2.8 Chevrolet cavalier z24, 161321 miles. The cooling fan wont turn, it was working well before I change the radiator. Now my car will over heat. and if all the mouints and bolted are not ther problem, what else can it be? what can I do?

did you start with a manual clutch operated fan and switch to a electric fan?

i dont now when i bought the car the fan was already there and it was working, until i change the radiator. what is the difference of a manual cluth fan and electric fan? can you help me with my fan proplem? thanks

IS there a belt going around the fan that turns it or is it operated electronically by the battery?

there is no belt that turns the fan, so i think is operated electronically

that narrows it down to a faulty fan switch or relay. or a bad coolant temp sending unit or coolant temp sensor. if those check out good the fan and make sure it is not bad.
