My car's radio stays on when I turn off the car until I open the driver's side door. Recently, during the cold winter, the radio occasionally stays on when I open the door. I'm assuming there's just a switch by the door, but I don't know where it is. Does anyone know where this is so I can either switch it out or at least get it unstuck? Thanks.

You are correct that this sounds like a door switch issue. The radio should time out after a couple minutes of not opening the door but if it doesn't shut off then it is not seeing the door open and that is a switch issue.

I attached the info below on how to replace this. Please run through this and let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
