Please help. My steering wheel and the ignition switch are locked. Key fits fine, even tried a spare. Tried moving the steering wheel back and forth. No release button on the column. The lights and bells come on when key is inserted, but it will not turn for anything. Afraid I might have to change the ignition switch. Not really knowlegeable about such things. Thanks.

sounds like you need a ignition cylinder. its pretty tricky to do when the key does not turn. you have to disassemble the steering column and drill out access pin in cylinder to remove old one.
