I recently discovered my AC compressor going bad- it is a one belt serpintine system that powers everything. Can I get a smaller belt and bypass the Compressor to keep the car running? I know I probably won't have a working AC but it is nice 70's here in SoCal. If you know what the name of the belt or the part number and how much I can expect a shop to do it that would help as well. Thanks

yes you can purchase a bypass drive belt. just call local auto part store and let them know what you're needing. should be around $100 labor and part at local shop.
