If you have Advance Auto Parts or Autozone stores in the area, take it there and have them check the computer for codes (for free). That should point you in the right direction. I believe the ETS light always comes on when the check engine light comes on.
If those stores aren't available, check with the local big chain auto parts store to see if they scan the computer for codes for free. Most do because they can sell you replacement parts afterwards.
