I just had transmission work done on my car and now the ETS light and check engine light it back on. It was off for a short time after leaving the repair shop, what else could be the problem? My car seams to be shifting ok and is not bucking any more.

If you have Advance Auto Parts or Autozone stores in the area, take it there and have them check the computer for codes (for free). That should point you in the right direction. I believe the ETS light always comes on when the check engine light comes on.

If those stores aren't available, check with the local big chain auto parts store to see if they scan the computer for codes for free. Most do because they can sell you replacement parts afterwards.
