1996 Chevy Cavalier rough running

On idle, my car runs a little rough, like it has a skip. After it first started doing this, I replaced the air filter, plugs and wires and had it serviced really good. The problem still persists. Any ideas. Also, I have a tiny ticking sound coming from the endine.

Well the rough running is probably due to a faulty idle air control valve. As for the ticking, probably some sludge buildup. Do a motor flush and put fresh oil in. If its minor, it should clear it up
