Engine Cooling problem
1992 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My engine fan will not kick in when the engine gets hot so the temperature guage starts to climb. We have replaced the fan but it still does not kick in. I have been told it may be the fuse or temperaure sensor. I don't know where these are located in this engine as I have had it for only a few months and this wasn't a problem because it didn't heat up during the winter. Can someone tell me where to locate the fuses/temperature sensor?

The engine coolant temperature sensor is located near the coolant inlet passage(where the top radiator hose meets the engine, ) its screwed into the block. And the fan relay would be under the hood, you should be able to easily find it. It should be by the front headlight, in the engine compartment.
