1996 Chevy Caprice my window

When I let my driver side window down it make a noise. Then the window stop like the quater of the way down, i got to put pressure on it to make it start back going again. But my window goes up good it just when it goes down. It seem to get stuck.

Hello –
sounds like a mechanical problem with the regulator. You will need to remove the inner door panel to visually inspect it.

To better assist you please tell me the model of your vehicle. Is it just a Caprice or a wagon. Also the engine size in liter and the 8th digit of your VIN.
