I bought a 1998 camaro 3 months ago it had a bad battery so I replaced it. Every 2 or 3 days the battery is dead. I took it into the shop and they found my alarm brain was bad so they replaced it and did a check on the battery, starter, alt. ect and did a draw test, after they replaced the brain they said the draw was normal. My battery is still going dead after 2 or 3 days. Can you tell me what the normal draw on a battery is with everything shut off and what the battery rating should be? Will a higher rated battery take care of the problem? If it helps it is a v-6,a/c,fuel injection,5-speed. The car runs great other than this. Can you help me?

an acceptable draw for your car is 50 milli amps. most likely your alarm brain was not causing a draw. the first thing to check is glove box light, map lights, visor lights and trunk lights. usually you will find one on. also check the under hood light. check back with us.
