OK, I've had to replace my ignition control modulator twice in the past year and a half the last replacement was not more than 6 weeks ago and now it has went out again. I can be driving or just idling and the engine will die unexpectedly without warning and now it has done it again. So I've come to the conclusion that something else is causing it to fry or go bad.

What can it be?

Any help is much appreciated.

Well the coil pack (all three) where replaced before also the first time, so then It might be the Crankshaft position sensor then.

That's what I've heard from a different source also.

Thanks.

Also can I hook a OBD2 scanner and pull up a code even if my "check engine light" didn't come on?
