There are several steps to replace the water pump. For me to try to explain it via the internet allows too much room for error. I recommend getting a repair manual with pictures and step by step instructions. THey offer them on this page under repair manuals. Also, to the best of my knowledge, they are much cheaper than purchasing a book.
