1995 Chevy Camaro Speed Senor Failure

The speedometer drive gear is located in the transmission right behind the tranny mount on the drivers side. A cable attaches into it to drive the speedometer. If your having speedometer problems you should first check the cable. To do this you need to disconnect it from the tranny and see if you can spin it inbetween your fingers. If not. Your cable is bad and needs replaced. Good luck :)
