1994 Camaro z-28 5.7l with LT1 motor 161,360 miles

I need help figure out what is wrong with this car. When it gets more than half way on the tempature gague it starts to act up it spetters, backfires, try to shut the car down and blows blacksmoke out the tail pipe. But it only does this when it gets hot. We changed the fuel pump and check the rotor and cap. The fan is working fine. We change therostat. Can you please help me.

Could have a problem with youre 02 sensor, Also air temp sensor as well, No check engine light on. Could have a problem with youre fuel regulator, How old is youre fuel filter. Have u done a compession test on the motor.

Check to see if water pump is leaking. If it is the distributor which is behind the water pump is getting wet causing the car to run bad
