1992 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 92 Chevy Camaro RS 3.1. I have recently replaced the EGR value and the connector. Now my vehicle runs great and the service light no longer comes on. The car runs smooth, I get it up to 50-70mph, awesome. But as I am about to come to a stop, right before around 5-10mph, she starts to shake and feel as though it is about to die out, but then I come to a complete stop she's fine. At times, instead of shaking and trying to die out, the vehicle, which normally settles at 1000rpm, it happens to stick at 2000rpm until I come to the stop, then it settles back to normal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
