1987 Chevy Camaro Engine Loses Power

I have changed the fuel pressurre regulator, fuel pump, air filters look fine. My car seems to run good until it heats up. Then as I am driving if I accelerate a decent amount you can feel it lose power, the service engine light comes on, and the car runs bad until you shut it off and let it cool down a while, but will do it again as soon as you get on it a little.

Is the check engine light still coming on? If so, have the computer scanned for code/s-there's a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to come on-this is your starting point of diagnosis-finding out what's going on.
