Are you sure the wires are in the correct order? Also, have you checked fuel pressure?

Thank you for you quick response. The wires are in the correct order. No, haven't checked the fuel pressure as yet. Have just begun trying to get the camaro road worthy. Thanks for your suggestion about the fuel pressure. Now I need to know how to do that. I am not car savy. At 56 I know little to nothing about a camaro. I'm trying to help my son get it going.

Thanks for the video. I am sure it will help once I can afford to purchase the fuel pressure test kit. Unfortunately, money being so lacking, I am unable to purchase it right now. Once I can get it checked, I'll try to let you know how things went. Thanks

Hi:
I understand about money being tight. Many of the nationally recognized parts stores will lend or rent the gauge. It's just a thought.

Good Luck,
Joe

Wow, no I didn't know that; I'll be checking into it. Maybe we can run the same test on my husband's 93 jeep grand cherokee laredo. It now seems to be having the same basic issue. My daughter drove my granddaughter home and turned off the jeep. When she tried to start it again, guess what, it wouldn't. It had gas. Anyway, thanks for your tremendous help. Here, I hope, is a photo of my son's 87 camaro.

Had to purchase the tool. It was less expensive to buy it than to rent it. Renting it was also twice as much.
My son watched the video. Said the engine in the video doesn't look like the engine in his car. What vehicle was used in the video? How will we know if we looking at the right place to connect the fuel pressure check? Just want to be sure we'll be doing the right thing. Input is greatly appreciated.
