i have an 87 iroc-z with the 5.7. My? Is if I take the car to the carwash/ or it rain's it run's like crap. Blow's black smoke out the tail pipes and idles like it want's to die. But never does. What could be causing this thank's bj

Sounds to me like your defintely have a electrical problem

best way to find this one out is to start the vehicle on a warmer dry day. From there take salt water and spray the electrical components. Slowly do this.

When you find the problem the electricity will arc in the mist or the vehicle will star to hesitate or run rough. Maybe even die.
