In about a 20 mile drive my car managed to dump 2 and 1/2 quarts of oil. The only place it appears to be coming from is one of the valve covers. My question is what would cause a high enough pressure to push put that much oil in such a short time. Thank you.

I found what it was, there was a bolt that came out of the bottem right side front of the engine (passenger side) found a bolt put thread lock on it and put it in, its no longer leaking and holding great.

Fuel pump is onthe side, but yes on the front technicaly right above where the fuel pump is, is that bad?

No bolt is to gain acess to pump rod so it can be held up during replacement.

Right, yeah thats what I was told, and that it probably just fell out, I lucky had one, put thread lock and put it in.
