i have a small block 283 in my 85 camaro new carb and fuel pump it starts and idles fine go to drive down the road she dies wont restart let it sit a few starts up then does the same thing

Hi there, when it stalls and won't start you will have to check for spark and fuel. I would be thinking that may be the coil is breaking down as It warms up, this is not uncommon.
