I have a 68 Camaro with a 350 Chevy. Oil pressure has dropped from 48 psi to 42 psi after warm up at 3000 rpm. The two things I have done since this has happened was change the push rods to moly 5/16s from stock and changed valve springs from 295 lbs open pressure to 340lbs.
could lifters be effecting this or could the holes in the push rods be bigger than the old ones causing a lower pressure.
Thanks,
Eric

Are you concerned with the oil pressure being too low? So many things will cause a varying oil pressure. Tolerances in bearings, normal wear. According to gm there is not a problem that is detrimental to engine life unless it goes below 6 psi when hot at idle.
