Actually you should use a dwell meter and set it at 30 degrees with the vacuum line disconnected. Set your timing at about 8 TDC. If no dwell meter.016-.017 should be fine. Make sure to put a little dab of grease on the rubbing block of the points so help with wear.

My info showed.035 plug gap..019 for the points.

19 for points is correct bu 17 to 21 is acceptable. Corresponding dwell is 28-32.

1968 327 with 210 hp, 2 brl, 2 degrees after top dead center
327 w250 hp w rochester carb 4 brl, 4 before top dead center
327 w275 hp, w rochestyer carb, top dead center
327 w300 to 350 hp. With rochester carb, 4 degrees before dead top center
