I HAD parked my car for the day at work and when I went to go it started good but it acted like it had a bad fuel filter but I had just replaced it two days prior went to start it the next morning and nothing. I went in to a shop and told them and they all thought that it could be the pump but that is only a few month old. The only way to start it is to dump gas staright in. And when I get it running it will only idle but it will drive for a few min till it worms up than it chocks it self out. On the two fuel lines coming up the fire wall ther is one with a valve steam on it is that the supply or return.

Thats the supply line. Check the connector at the fuel pump. Look to see if any terminals are melted. Also did you use a ac delco pump? I have no luck with aftermarket pumps.

Im not sure I was stationd in cal and the car was in MN and my wifes uncle did it for us. So if I depressed the valve it should spray fuel out if the pump is good and wont if the pump is bad?

Yes you should have a lot of gas pour out of that fitting. A good fuel pump puts out very high pressure and high volume.
