Sounds like one of the wires for your remote start was incorrectly tied into a "constant" power wire. I see this happen alot with plow motors. My advice is bring it to whoever hooked it up, because they messed up. However, if u have a test light and the time, you can figure it out. Just hook your test light up to the POSITIVE post of your battery. Instead of looking for power, your looking for a bad ground. If your test light lights when you probe a ground, then u have an issue. Fix that. After u go through your wiring, hook the test light you your negative post of your battery, and with the key off, see what has constant power. If they hooked one of your remote start wires to whatever u find that has constant power, than u simply cut that wire, and relocate it. Hope this helps.
