Okay I have two problems that I have recently noticed might be connected and was wondering what is going on. The first problem is the fuel system. It wont start unless I pour gas into the intake manifold and pump the gas pedal while I start it. If I give it gas sometimes its like it is choking and if I don't let off the gas pedal fast enough it dies, usually when I am shifting from reverse to drive. It also chokes on hills. By chokes I mean it is like it is getting to much or not enough gas. It does it just driving too but not as much.
The second problem is the battery. I have had this blazer for five years and I am on the fourth battery.
The the new thing is if I am in park and I roll the windows up the engine dies, but it sputters like it ran out of gas. Also, the lights and radio still work after it dies.

Thanks for you help

You really need to ask separate questions because it becomes way too hard for anyone to follow.

Your starting problem is most likely a bad fuel pump. You need to get a fuel pressure gauge and test the fuel pressure while attempting to start it in the morning. This is a high pressure system and requires a minimum of 55 PSI to run. Any less will cause the problems you are experiencing.

I also recommend using nothing but Delco brand fuel pumps as the others create numerous problems.
