My Chevy Blazer is sputtering at high RPM (2000-2500 and higher) and looses all power. Sputtering stops when accelerator peddle is retracted to about half way. Top speed is about 60 MPH in 3rd gear while towing my 22 ft boat (3000 lb load). Cold temps (5 degrees F) and oxygen sensor trouble codes 131 and 151 have been popping up. I reset them with my code reader.

Losing battle here at my end, any ideas. Need answer asap as I will be traveling to FL very soon. Thanks a bunch, Joe.

Hello
Thanks for the donation.

In most cases like this, a simple tune up is all that is required to fix the issue. Mainly the spark plugs and plug wires will cause the sputtering. But also, filters and fluids are esssential tune up procedures to keep your vehicle operating normal.

Hope this helps.
