car it just makes a sound like the starter?

1995 Chevy Blazer Engine Size unknown Four Wheel Drive Automatic 250000 miles

a hose came off my blazer we didn't know it at the time the blazer died we fixed the hose back on put oil back in the car it just makes a sound like the starter is out but someone else said they think the motor froze up.

If it was an oil cooler hose and you ran out of oil,you probably locked up the motor.
