I have a 94 s10 blazer v6 vortec with cpi. I recently replaced the egr valve, map sensor, intake and return fuel lines because they were leaking, and the throttle position sensor. Now it will start then die suddenly and cant be started for awhile. What else can the problem be? I really need to get this truck runnng. I am a volunteer EMT and cant get to the fire station without it.

Will it start and run on starter fluid? If it does I would suspect the fuel pump pulsator and or pump located in the fuel tank. Get back to us.

If engine cranks but wont start then either you have fouled the spark plugs or there is not enough fuel volume (not pressure) getting to cpi. Try spraying starter fluid in it and see if it starts.
