Starts and idles fine, lots of power. Changed fuel pump, fuel filter, cap and rotor, spark plugs, and cleaned the egr valve and its still stalling at red lights.

Clean the throttle body and idle air control, see if it helps? If your fully obd1 compliant, check for applicable codes, see if anything shows up? Go from there.

When I bought it I used one of tjose cans of sea foam motor treatment that goes through the intake. I have also put a jumper from the a and b connectors and no trouble codes are coming up.

Does the mil on the dash work? You should have got at least a code 12, if nothing else? I've seen plenty of older vehicles where that lamp was out. On these vehicles, I use a scanner that shows live engine data, even though I can't check codes, I can still look at live engine data, see if I notice anything.

If the tcc is hung-up, it will kill the engine when you come to a stop.

Just my opinion, I don't think the problem is a clogged exhaust? If clogged exhaust it should bog down under load? I hope you get it going your way.

Would the torque converter clutch locked up cause my Blazer to immediately shut off when put into drive?

Yes, it will, when the converter has a problem there is no "free wheel" affect so the engine will stall the second you put it into gear. If you send a video I can tell for sure, you can upload it in your response.

I will go to the shop tomorrow and get a video. I agree though, that is exactly what it's doing.

You can put the car in neutral when coming to a stop to see if the problem goes away, this will confirm the issue.

It won't even drive to check this, but I do believe you can go from Park into neutral without shutting off. Only cuts off when put into any drive gears, as if the key was turned off. Just cuts right off.

I'm trying to find a ride over to shop for video. Do you by chance have a video of what this would look like yourself? I'm pretty positive you're correct but the shop seems to not want to. It's been there a month!

We don't have a video of the failure because the torque converter needs to be cut open to see it. I wanted to see a video of the vehicle coming to a stop and then stalling that way I could be sure. It sounds like it is the problem though.

Okay yes, because it cuts out when put into drive, we can't drive it. I gave them the info, hopefully he reads up on this but they have spent a month on it, and it's being done free to me, so I just have to accept it as is. I just wish they had found this info out on their own a month ago instead of guess work. Had I known they too would be guessing at stuff, I'd had just kept doing that myself. They were successful in getting it to idle without shutting off at least. Sounds great idling, lol, but I'm still without transportation. Not sure how I'll get it back to the house. How difficult is it to change the torture converter? It's just disconnecting transmission and moving it back a little to access TC? Or is it more involved?

You must remove it completely. These videos will give you an idea of what is involved:

So, the transmission has to be removed completely not just disconnected and pushed back some. Okay, well that just assured me to not let the person saying he can do it, do it. That helps immensely. Okay. I have to make some calls to find someone. Thank you again.
