The fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. You need to drop the tank to get to it.I strongly suggest you use an A/C Delco pump. If there is a plastic oval piece between the pump and the tank assembly, discard it and use the piece of fuel injection hose supplied with the pump in its place. That is called a "pulse dampener" and they caused many driveability problems and arent necessary to be there
