I had a 1991 blazer with a 4.3 carburated motor I took it out and put it in a 1992 4x4 blazer and put a vortec fuel injected intake on it instaed of the carburator.

my problem is that the vehicle will start and run fine for about 20 minutes then when I turn it off it will NOT restart unless I spray starter fluid in the throttle body or let it set for 30 minutes or so.

i have replace the fuel filter, I have checked the fuel pressure at the throttle body and it was fine (i dont remember the numbers right now) I am out of options here I dont know what else to check to find this problem

Hello, don't tell me you swapped the tbi system for a spider system? The fuel pressure specs are no where near the same. I haven't checked the fuel pump specs.

On my 91 blazer I bought a crate motor 4.3 liter and on the 92 I took that engine out cus it was no good, I put my 4.3 in it and my 4.3 had carburator but the 92 had the spider type intake with vortec on it so I put it on top of my 4.3 instead of the carburator that was on it

Maybe I'm missing something? If the computer--fuel pump-- spider are the same system, I'm not sure why it won't work? Are there any codes, what are the fuel pressure specs?
